Description: A therapeutic group for teenagers focused on exploring individual identity through creative expression. Also facilitates meaningful connections with peers in an open and accepting environment.

  • Ages: 13-18 years
  • Capacity: Six members
  • Frequency/Duration: Once weekly for 90 minutes (time and day TBD)
  • Start Date: September 2018, ongoing throughout the school year (ending in May 2019)
  • Open to all experience levels and creative/artistic modalities
  • Price: $120 monthly** (includes four group session

#NotAlone

Description: A support group for teens dealing with bullying, self-harm, school stress, depression, anxiety, and more. Our support group will help teens develop positive coping skills to deal with whatever issue they are struggling with. What makes our group unique is that the teens, as participants, will have input into how the group will work and what we will discuss throughout the process.

  • Ages: 12-17
  • Capacity: 6 members
  • Frequency of group: Once per week. Day to be announced
  • Start date: September 2018, ongoing through 2019
  • Price: 120. 00 monthly. Payments to be made at the beginning of each month, in advance of the first scheduled group session.

Mindwise

Description: Learn to manage your emotions in a positive way! "MINDWISE" will focus on self-awareness, stress, tolerance and assertiveness. You will learn how to identify and understand your emotions.

Over the Rainbow

Description: Over the Rainbow is a group that is available for ages 14-17 and offers compassion and acceptance to teens struggling with issues facing the LGBT+ community such as bullying and low self-esteem. The group also aims to provide resources for parents of teens by connecting them with the necessary information and connections to better support their child." Ages 14-18 years old.

Free from Stigma

Description: "FREE FROM STIGMA" is a group to help parents connect with their children by educating them on some of the common mental health concerns that children and teenagers commonly face. We will be introducing the concept of therapy, how it works, and why it is successful. You will learn about and discuss how to use improve your relationship with your children to understand the issues of depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, and other mental health concerns.

  • Consistency- once a week for 6 weeks.

Child in mind

Description: Kids are often flooded with an increase in anxiety symptoms as they try to navigate a healthy balance between family values, school, and social lives "Child in Mind" gives kids a safe environment to learn tools that will not only empower them but also replace unhealthy thinking patterns.
